On Sunday night at 8:48 PM, I received a voice note from one of my 1:1 clients.
Her daughter had been in urgent care all day.She hadn’t slept the night before.Her house was chaotic.Her partner wasn’t showing up the way she needed.Everything felt messy, loud, out of control.
When most people are exhausted, spiralling, and ready to burn it all down. She was messaging me to celebrate a HUGE WIN! Why?
Coz for a moment there—her old patterns almost tried to take the wheel. The anxiety started creeping in.
But here’s the thing: This time was different.
She didn’t spiral. She didn’t lose herself. She didn’t lash out at her family.
She regrouped. She regulated. She asked for what she needed. And she lead herself—even inside the chaos.
Not because life magically became easy. Not because someone else swooped in to save her.
But because she now knows how to hold herself through the messy middle.

I’m not a magic pill. I can’t stop life from throwing its punches.(Your partner will still get sick. Your kids will still lose their shit. You’ll still get those passive aggressive emails sometimes.)

Where there used to be panic?Now there’s clarity.
Where there used to be reactivity? Now there’s self-leadership.
Where there used to be shame? Now there’s pride.(Real, earned, embodied pride. Not the fake kind.)
